FAQ

What is a DrupalCamp?

Drupal is a free open-source content management system (CMS) written in the PHP programming language. Drupalcamps are community sharing + training events for Drupal enthusiasts and newbies alike. Drupalcamp Phoenix is an attendee-driven, completely volunteer initiative modeled after the open, participatory nature of barcamps. The event is catered towards everyone – curious beginners, designers, developers, and business owners are all welcome!

When and where is it?

February 28-March 2, 2014 at ASU in Tempe, AZ.

How do I connect to ASU wifi as a guest?

Connect to the wireless, open your browser, and click the "Guest Access" button.

Why do I have to flag sessions?

It's very important that you flag the sessions you want to attend so that we can add them to the official schedule.  We want to make sure that sessions will be well attended and that popular sessions have enough room to accommodate everyone who is interested. Flagging is just our way of saying "you wish to attend this workshop."

What does DrupalCamp PHX have to offer for newbies?

There will be a beginners' track comprised of sessions tailored for beginners to learn more about Drupal and what it can do.

Attendees with experience in other fields of development may also be interested in some of the BoF (birds of a feather) sessions taking place.

How many people are expected to attend?

This year we expect between 150 to 250 attendees.

What's the cost of admission?

It's Free!
